Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between app credits and API credits?

They're completely separate pools. Conflux Home (the desktop app) has its own credit system for agent interactions. API credits are for developers using the Conflux Router API. Buying one doesn't give you the other.

What are credits?

Credits are our universal currency. Each action costs credits based on the model used — a typical Core model call costs 1-2 credits, while Ultra models cost 8-16. One credit equals $0.01 of provider cost.

Do credits expire?

No. Purchased credits never expire. Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle.

Can I use my own API keys?

Yes! Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) is coming soon. You'll be able to use your existing OpenAI/Anthropic/Google keys through our router for free.

What happens if I run out of credits?

In the app, you'll be prompted to buy more or upgrade. For API calls, you'll get a 402 error. We never auto-charge for overages without your consent.
